63 remanded to judicial custody for Greater Noida lynching
Noida, Sept 23 (UNI) A district court today remanded to 14-day judicial custody at least 63 people arrested for lynching of L K Chaudhry, CEO of Greater Noida-based auto components manufacturer Cerlikon-Graziano Transmissions India Pvt Ltd, and injuring other employees of the firm.
Seventy three others involved in the crime were also presented before the court.
Police and PAC personnel were deployed around the company premises.
SHO of Sector 49 police station Pramod Kumar Sharma was appointed as station incharge of Bisrakh police station in place of SHO Jagmohan Sharma after the attack.
Several employees were unceremoniously sacked some time back by the company management and tension was brewing ever since.
More than 25 other employees of the company were also injured during the attack.
