Chandigarh, Sep 22 (UNI) World Tourism Organisation will market Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore as a major tourism destination after declaration of Kalka-Shimla railway track as World Heritage Site by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
Addressing a press conference here today, Haryana Tourism Minister Kiran Choudhry said that Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore was all geared up for increased tourist arrival as it was going to be the buffer zone for the tourists.
She said Pinjore Heritage Festival would be a calendar event like Surajkund Festival and it would be organised from October 3 to 5 every year.
She said with the World Heritage Site tag for the Kalka-Shimla railway track, the Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore got its pride of place for the tourists from all over India and abroad.
The net advantage of World Heritage tag would increase the tourists inflow at Yadavindra Gardens and it would become an ideal destination for tourists to stay before onward journey to Kalka, Solan and Shimla, she added.
