Ten senior officials of Delhi Police shuffled

New Delhi, Sep 22 (UNI) In a major shuffle ten senior officers of the Delhi Police, of the rank of Joint Commissioner, were transferred.

While Jt CP (Southern Range) Rajesh Kumar has been made Jt CP (Armed Police), Mr Deep Chand Jt CP (Security) has now been appointed Jt CP P&I, Delhi Police Research Unit (DPRU) and Mr P R Meena, Jt CP Northern Range has been shifted as Jt CP Security.

Also, Jt CP Alok Kr Verma (Crime, Rlys, EOW, Narcotics, IGIA) will now be Jt CP Crime, Rlys, EOW and Narcotics only, and Jt CP Special Cell Karnal Singh will hold additional charge of Northern Range.

Mr Dharmendra Kumar from Arunachal Pradesh will now be Jt CP New Delhi Range.

Besides this, Amulya Kr Patnaik on central deputation will now be Jt CP Operations and look after the additional charge of IGIA as well, and Jt CP (P&I) Nityanandan will now take over as Jt CP Recruitment.

Along with this, Jt CP New Delhi Range Ajay Kashyap will be the new Jt CP Southern Range, and Additional CP Ujjawal Mishra holding charge of PCR along with the Special Branch has been divested off the PCR burden.
