Pantaloon Retail Q4FY04 net up 74.23% at Rs 32.53 cr

New Delhi, Sept 22 (UNI) Pantaloon Retail India Ltd today said it registered a 74.23 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 32.53 crore for the quarter ended June 2008, as compared to Rs 18.67 crore during the same period a year ago.

Total income has increased to Rs 1,381.44 crore for the quarter ended June 2008 from Rs 1,037.42 crore for the quarter ended June 2007, posting a 33.16 jump.

The company said in a statement that it has posted a net profit of Rs 125.97 crore for the year ended June 2008 against Rs 119.99 crore for the year ended June 2007.

Its total income has increased to Rs 5,052.67 crore for the year ended June 2008 from Rs 3,328.77 crore during the last fiscal.

The Group posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 21.93 crore for the year ended June 2008 as compared to Rs 35.54 crore for the year ended June 2007.

However, its total income has increased from Rs 3,565.48 crore for the year ended June 2007 to Rs 5,866.50 crore for the year ended June 2008.
