Bhubaneswar ,Sep 22 (UNI) The East Coast Railways(ECoR) today cancelled short terminated and rescheduled several trains as flood waters from Bhargavi river submerged the railway bridge in between Delang and Birpurushattampur, snapping the rail link with holy city of Puri.
ECoR sources here said the 7479 Puri- Tirupati Express scheduled to leave Puri today has been cancelled besides the 2KP/4KP Puri Khurda Road passengers.The 1KP/3KP Khurda Road - Puri passengers scheduled to leave Khurda Road tomorrow will also remain cancelled.
The 2802 New Delhi- Puri Purusottam Express scheduled to arrive Puri today will be short terminated at Bhubaneswar and will run as 2802 Puri - New Delhi Purusottam Express.
Similarly, the 213 Cuttack - Puri passenger will be short terminated at Khurda Road and will run as 214 Puri- Cuttack passenger to Cuttack tomorrow..
The 201 Santragachi- Puri passenger will be short terminated at Khurda Road and will run as 202 Puri-Santragachi passenger tomorrow.
211 Rourkela- Puri passenger, the 218 Palasa- Puri passenger will be short terminated at Khurda Road.
The ECoR had rescheduled the 2838 Puri- Howrah Express which leave Puri tomorrow morning at 0705 hours.The 8452 Puri - Hatia Tapaswini Express scheduled to leave Puri tonight has been rescheduled to leave Puri tomorrow at 0745 hours.
The 8410 Puri- Howrah Sri Jagannath Express scheduled to leave Puri at 2230 hours has been rescheduled to leave Puri at 08.30 tomorrow.
The 8477 Puri - Haridwar Kalinga Utkal Express scheduled to leave Puri tonight has been rescheduled to leave Puri at 0900 hrs tomorrow.
