Udupi, Sep 22 (UNI) Delhi Police and sleuths from Intelligence Bureau, who arrived in the city last night, today subjected a person to questioning in connection with last weeks serial blasts in the natiional capital.
The Delhi police brought along Mohammed Saif, a key suspect in last week's Delhi serial blasts, police sources said.
Assisted by Karnataka police, they also detained a youth, a student in nearby academic town of Manipal and subjected him to questioning. The team inquired about the possibility of explosive materials sourced from the academic town of Manipal near here.
They also visited the hotels in the town and made enquiries about persons who recently stayed there.
Udupi Superintendent of police Praveen Madhukar Pawar told newspersons that the five-member team arrived here late last night along with a person among the four arrested and made local inquiries.
''We have given only the logistic support and no other information about the inquiry was available with us,'' Mr Pawar said.
Parrying all queries from the media, he, however, clarified that no arrest or detention has been made in connection with the case.
