BJP to hold Sankalp rally at Pasighat

Itanagar, Sep 22 (UNI) The BJP in Arunachal Pradesh has decided to join All India Vijay Sankalp Yatra as per decision taken in the party's National Executive Committee meeting held at Bangalore recently.

Partys National president Rajnath Singh and leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani will reach here on October 11 and would address a rally at Pasighat, party sources said.

Celebrities including actor turned politician Vinod Khanna, Shatrughan Sinha and Hema Malini and former cricketer Navjot Singh Siddhu were likely to attend the Vijay Sankalp Yatra, sources informed.

The Sankalp Yatra is a bid to reach people in different parts of the country in order to assess impact of their performences during the BJP led NDA government at the Centre, sources added.

State unit president of the party Dr Tangor Tapak has constituted a state level committee and sub-committees for its grand success, sources said.
