UPA Govt for soft peddling POTA, means to curb terrorism: Modi
Pune, Sep 21: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, Sep 20 reiterated his stand pertaining to terrorism and fake currency racket in the country and alleged that the UPA government was falling short of finding ways and means to curb the activities.
Mr Modi while addressing a function organised by a Marathi weekly magazine 'Vivek' on occasion of Silver Jubilee celebration said a tough law has to be made to fight terrorist activities in the country. Recalling the terrorist attack in Parliament and Akshardham temple where the terrorist involved were given highest punishment only because the nation had POTA law. Mr Modi said that he had informed the Prime Minister that after Ahmedabad Delhi was on the terrorists targetlist. He said he had also met Home Minister Shivraj Patil and told him that Delhi was a target.
