Mysore, Sep 21 (UNI) JSS Mahavidyapeetha, a pioneer of religious institutions, will organise a three-day interaction programme for Legislators of Karnataka here from September 23.
Speaking to newspersons here today, Programme Convenor G R Channabasappa said a large number of MLAs, MLCs and ministers would attend the programme.
JSS Seer Shivarthari Deshikendra Swamiji had initiated steps to host the programme for the benefit of the elected representatives in the State.
Mr Channabasappa said a moral science class for legislators, apart from spiritualism and mysticism, besides seminars and discussions on meditation and yoga classes would be main feature of the programme.
The programme would be inaugurated by Sadaguru Jaagi Vasudev, founder Isha Foundation, Coimbatore and former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will preside over the function.
Mr Channabasappa said after the programme, the institution would release a volume on the entire proceedings of the camp.
The Institution would also bring out hand-books for the MLAs and MLCs, about their duties and responsibilities enshrined in the Constitution, he said, adding that it would be published in Kannada, English and Hindi initially and subsequently in other languages.
Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and opposition leader Mallikarjuna Kharge, were among others, expected to attend the camp on the concluding day of the programme.
