Three gangrape accused from Punjab nabbed, one at large
Dharamshala, Sep 20 (UNI) Kangra police today arrested three youths of Meerthal village of Punjab in connection with a gangrape case registered yesterday in Indora Police station of this district while one of the accused was absconding, police said here today.
Kangra District Police Chief Atul Fulzele today told UNI that Gulzar Singh Ghari, Gursewak Singh alias Seeth and Sabhi, all residents of Lohana Meerthal in Punjab were arrested today while Yuv Raj, son a Naib Subaidhar was still absconding.
He said that the trio were arrested under section 376, 363 and 34 IPC for allegedly gang raping a resident of Sanda Dakki village under Nangal Bhoor police Chowki.
The SSP said that the arrested youths would be produced before the court tomorrow.
Mr Fulezele said that the youth had given a lift to two girls in a car from the Mukerian bus stop on September 9, and drove them to Kathgarh in this district where they raped one of them in an isolated place.
