New Delhi, Sep 20: Mohammad Saif and Zeeshan, who were arrested after Friday, Sep 19 encounter with Delhi Police's Special Cell at Jamia Nagar here, have been sent to 14 days of police custody. They were produced in Tees Hazari Court on Saturday, Sep 20 by the Delhi Police. While Saif, who was injured in the gunbattle, was arrested immediately, Zeeshan, who was believed to be an aide of Bashar, was taken into custody while he was giving an interview to a news channel. Two other accomplices managed to escape from the encounter site.
The police claimed that all five men involved in the encounter were from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
