New Delhi, Sep 19 (UNI) The Sri Lankan Board's decision to allow ICL players to play at the domestic circuit has not gone well with the BCCI which today said it will take the matter to the ICC.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) had decided to lift the ban on ICL recruits on Wednesday.
While the SLC has allowed the rebel players to play in domestic cricket but that would make the players eligible for selection in the national team.
BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said the board was disappointed with the SLC' new stand.
''We have come to know about it (lifting of ban). It is very strange. We have not spoken to the Sri Lankan cricket board till now. But will take up this issue with the ICC,'' Shah said.
