Eros estimates to grow to $30 bn by 2012

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) Eros International Public limited company (EIPLc), worth billion now, is estimated to grow to billion by 2012 due to the boom expected in the Indian media and entertainment industry, according to a report by Price Water Cooper.

In its AGM held yesterday, while announcing a trading update, EIPLc said that having already invested over US 0 million in over 60 content deals, the Company will continue to focus on its strategic priorities of securing content distributing new films.

The company anticipates further content deals including expanding beyond Hindi and Tamil to other languages and intends to make selected acquisitions during the current financial year.

Eros releases over 30 new films globally each year in Hindi, Tamil and English, with an unrivalled library of over 1,900 titles, the report said.
