Kathmandu, Sep 19 (UNI) Nepalese Minister for Land Reforms and Management Matrika Prasad Yadav resigned his post this morning.
A meeting of the Maoist central secretariat held this morning asked Mr Yadav to introspect and change his style of working in view of his recent activities, including capturing a private house in Siraha district in Eastern Nepal.
Mr Yadav, along with armed Maoist cadres, captured a private house and land, which was covered by police for security reasons, last week and distributed it to landless labourers.
He also accused Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bamdev Gautam of protecting the land mafia.
