BSNL to link five more districts in HP with Broad band

Nahan, Sep 19 (UNI) Sirmour, Solan, Kullu, Bilaspur and Chamba districts of Himachal Pradesh would be connected on website soon, according to Director Information and Public Relation Department Himachal Pradesh J.R. Katwal.

Sirmour District will be connected within a week while the other four districts would be linked within three months on website, he said adding that this would enable the people outside to keep in touch with the news of these districts.

At present five districts including Shimla, Mandi, Una, Kangra and Hamirpur, which had the facility of Broad Band provided by BSNL, enjoyed the Website connectivity, he said.

He said that Kinnaur and Lauhal-Spiti district were still waiting for Broad Band facilities and so not connected with website.

He said that the latest developments in these districts, could be watched through their website, which would be kept updated.
