A day's saddassu on Literary programmes held in Temple town

Tirupati,Sep 19(UNI) To protect Hindu culture and traditions, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has been conducting Sahitya sammelanam and literary programmes every year 'Sahhti Sadassu', TTD Chairman D K Adhikesavulu Naidu said while inaugarating Sahhti Sadassu here today.

After inaugurating a the Sahhti Sadassu, he said the TTD had also taken up various social projects and dharmic programmes as part of 'Dharma Pracharam' in society.

Scholars attending the prestigious event, will be able to explore the possibilities for protecting the literary values in the society, he added.

Earlier, Mr Naidu released a book titled ''Vishnumaya Vilasa Maha Prabhandam'' written by late renowned writer Eragudipati Venkatachalam in the presence of his grandson V Venkata Subramanya Sarma .

The people involved in Vishnu seva, will also get to know about Vishnu Maya, he informed.

Among prominent scholars who graced the occassion were Prof Ravva Srihari, Acharya Sarvothama Rao, Acharya Venkatarami Reddy and Samudrala Lakshmaiah.
