Sanitation employees to get free houses: Mah CM
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Sep 18 (UNI) The Maharashtra Government today announced that free houses will be given to Sanitation employees, working with Municipal Corporations and Municipal Councils in the State, who have completed 25 years of service.
Addressing a press conference here after the two-day special Cabinet meeting in the city, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said these employees will benefit from such a scheme, announced for the first time.
There are 90,000 sanitation employees in the state, while in Marathwada region alone, the figure is 10,000, he added.
