RBD Palmolein flat; Groundnutseed and its oil further decline

Mumbai, Sep 18 (UNI) Prices of RBD palmolein today remained flat on moderate demand by stockists, while groundnutseed and its oil further fell because of sluggish demand by bulk consumers, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

Prices of groundnutseed and nigerseed fell by Rs 25 and Rs 120 per quintal respectively on lower buying support.

Castorseed Bombay and Hyderabad shot up by Rs 35 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, on better buying support by stockists.

In edible oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil and cottonseed (refined) eased by Rs 5 per ten kg each following lack of fresh demand. Even sunflower exp ref and soyabean ref moved down by Rs 20 and Rs 10 per ten kg respectively on sustained heavy selling pressure by bulk consumers.

All de-oiled cakes remained flat, traders added.
