Islamabad, Sept 18 : Pakistan Sports Ministry is reportedly planning to take over the PCB till the appointment of a new chairman, said the country's Sports Minister Najamuddin Khan.
He said the game was suffering, as the Board didn't have a chief for almost one month.
"Our cricket is suffering due to absence of a chairman while the leadership of the country has no time to decide the person for this coveted post. So, we have decided to look after the affairs of the PCB till the appointment of a permanent chairman," the Daily Times quoted Khan, as saying.
A notification will be issued with a day or two.
