Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) To give shape to the e-Governance Programme of the Haryana government, the services of as many as 18 e-Disha Common Service Centres has been introduced in the rural areas of Gurgaon, the cyber city of the state.
All those facilities which are being made available to people at the e-Disha Centres of their district headquarters would now be available at their village level in these centres.
An official spokesman said Centres had been opened in the Manesar, Harsaru, Daulatabad, Kadipur, Kakrolla, Vajirabad, Sikandarpur, Dundaheda, Sukhrali, Kasan, Sarholl, Basai, Jhardsa, Bal Bhawan, Krishna Marker Chakarpur, Rajiv Nagar, Palam Vihar and Sector 56 of Gurgaon.
After assessing the success of these centres, this facility would then be introduced in all the other villages of the district.
He said the villagers did not have to travel long distances to their district headquarters to obtain caste certificate, domicile and passport as these would all be made available at the e-governance Centres of their villages.
They would now have to submit an application form at the e-Disha centers of their villages to get these certificates which would make a lot many things easier for them as they would be saved from travelling to their district headquarters.
