Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 18 (UNI) Apollo Hospitals Group will be launching the first Apollo Reach Hospital in the country at Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh.
The 150-bed hospital equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including flat panel cath lab and ultra-modern operation theatres will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy tomorrow in the presence of Dr Prathap C Reddy, Founder Chairman, Apollo Group of Hospitals.
Dr Hariprasad, CEO, Apollo Health City, said in a statement that Apollo Reach Hospitals has been conceived by Apollo Hospitals Group to bridge the existing rural-urban gap in access to quality healthcare and reach tertiary healthcare to the hitherto un-treaded semi-urban and rural areas.
The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh formally launched the concept of Apollo Reach Hospitals in Chennai on September five, 2008.
The Group is in the process of rolling out 25 Apollo Reach Hospitals across the country in the next 18 months.
