Nepalese PM Prachanda arrives on two-day visit to Karnataka
Bangalore, Sep 17 (UNI) Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, arrived here today on a two-day vist to the state.
Mr Prachanda, accompanied by his wife Seeta Dahal and cabinet colleagues Upendra Yadav, Bishnu Poude and Rajendra Mahato and a host of officials were received by Higher Education Minister Aravinda Limbavali, Chief Secretary Sudhakar Rao and IG and DGP Sreekumar at the HAL airport.
He would visit the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), one of the country's premier centre of excellence, and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Mr Prachanda would have interaction with captains of industries at a luncheon meeting arranged by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa would host a dinner to the visiting dignitary.
Mr Prachanda will leave for New Delhi on September 18.
