Journalists put up tea stall to raise money for flood victims
Durg, CG, Sep 17 (UNI) In a unique effort to lend support to flood victims in Bihar, some journalists from Kumhari in this district collected more than Rs 10,000 by putting up a tea stall.
Their efforts were lauded by every section and even daily labourers came forward.
The journalists, including Mr Ambdas Deshmukh, Anuj Shukla and Ashok Srivastava, met Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and handed him a bank draft of Rs 10,500 for flood victims. Dr Singh praised their efforts to raise funds.
