Fruit seller dies during anti-encroachment drive
Nashik, Sept 17 (UNI) A 40-year-old fruit seller died of heart attack during an anti-encroachment drive in Sinnar Phata area of Nashik Road suburb of the city today.
According to sources, the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) observed an anti-encroachment drive at Nashik Road today. Due to this, a fruit seller from Sinnar Phata area suffered a severe heart attack.
The deceased was identified as Jiyalal Pyarelal Sonkar.
This incident created tension for sometime. The fruit vendors and shopkeepers gheraoed the NMC officials. The drive was stopped for the day after the incident.
