Jaipur, Sep 17 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has said the Opposition Congress was at a loss of effective poll issue to face in electorate in the Assembly elections, while the ruling BJP was prepared to go to polls on a positive note.

Addressing two public meetings at Indragarh in Bundi district and at Ummaid Singh Stadium in Kota yesterday, Ms Raje condemned the UPA regime at the Centre for its ''dismal performance in curbing terrorism, inflation and price rise'' and praised her government for achieving "record growth on development front.'' Ms Raje said, ''My party is ready to go to polls with development, internal security and terrorism as poll issues, but the Opposition Congress is still hunting for poll issue''.

She said development carried by her government has transformed the state and even the Centre was forced to praise and acknowledge it.

''I have restored Rajasthan's lost pride and now, I expect people of the state to vote my party for a second successive term,'' Ms Raje underlined.

The Chief Minister, during her day-long tour, had participated in a number of programmes. She also laid a foundation stone for 22 development projects involving an investment of Rs 240 crore.
