Bhopal, Sep 17: Aiming to form the next government after the Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, the state unit of Bharatiya Jan Shakti will organise ''Suraj Sankalp'' rally at Lal Parade ground here on September 22.
BJS state unit president Ashok Tripathy told reporters today that party president Uma Bharti would address the rally and expose the 'anti-poor and pro-rich' policies of the BJP in the state.
Criticising Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's 'Jana Ashirwad Yatra', Mr Tripathy alleged that the Chief Minister was spoiling the state's resources and in the name of taking blessings from the people he was misusing the government funds and machinery.
He said 80 per cent fund, earmarked for the welfare schemes, was either misused by the corrupt ministers or spent for malpropaganda.
Mr Tripathy said the level of the corruption in the state government could be gauged from the fact that complaints against 18 ministers were registered in the office of Lokayukta.
On the status of the breakaway group of the BJS, led by former union minister Prahlad Patel, Mr Tripathy asserted that Uma Bharti's party is real. ''Uma Bharti is Janshakti and Janshakti is Uma Bharti.''
