BJS to 'expose' BJP in 'Suraj Sankalp' rally
Bhopal, Sep 17 (UNI) Aiming to form the next government after the Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, the state unit of Bharatiya Jan Shakti would organise ''Suraj Sankalp'' rally at Lal Parade ground here on September 22.
BJS state unit president Ashok Tripathy told reporters here today that party president Uma Bharti would address the rally to expose the 'anti-poor and pro-rich' rule by BJP in the state.
Criticising Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's 'Jana Ashirwad Yatra', Mr Tripathy alleged the Chief Minister was bent upon spoiling the state's resources and in the name of taking blessings from the people he was misusing the government funds and machinery.
He said eighty per cent fund earmarked for the welfare schemes were either misused by the corrupt ministers or spent for malpropaganda.
Mr Tripathy said the level of corruption in the state government could be gauged from the fact that complaints against 18 ministers were registered in the office of Lokayukta.
On the status of the breakaway group of BJS, led by former union minister Prahlad Patel, Mr Tripathy asserted that Uma Bharti's party was real. ''Uma Bharti is Janshakti and Janshakti is Uma Bharti.
There is no other party''.
