Woman charges Bank Vice-Chairman of Bank with rape
Pune, Sep 16 (UNI) Nearly a month after the incident, a woman today accused the Vice-Chairman of the Pimpri-based Seva Cooperative Bank, Prabhu Jadhwani of drugging, raping and taking her nude pictures at Hinjewadi.
According to FIR, the incident took place when she went to the bank seeking a loan of Rs 50,000. The woman alleged that after allegedly drugging her on August 17, Jodhwani took her in his car to a place near a hotel at Poud Road and raped her.
The Pimpri police have registered an FIR and charged Jodhwani under IPC 376, 327, and 507. Police Inspector S S Patil, who is investigating the case, said the victim was sent for medical tests at Yeshwantrao Chavan Hospital.
When the news of the alleged rape broke out, women from the Pimpri took out a morcha to the bank and demanding stern action against the rape accused.
