Security stepped up for Mah Cabinet meet
Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Sep 16: Police have beefed up security at the divisional commissionerate here prior to the start of a two-day Maharashtra Cabinet meeting tomorrow.
Around 3,500 police personnel were brought from other parts of the state for duty. They included six Superintendents, 20 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 50 Police Inspectors, 200 APIs and PSIs, 2,500 constables, 350 homeguards and six companies of State Reserve Police Force, the sources said.
City Police Commissioner K L Bishnoi took a review meeting of all the police personnel.
The Cabinet meeting is being held to discuss various developmental issues of the Marathwada region.
