SAAP resolves to enhance the remuneration coahces

Hyderabad, Sep 16 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government has exhorted the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) to assess the performance of coaches before taking a decision to enhance their remuneration.

SAAP in its board meeting resolved to enhance the consolidated pay of coaches working in SAAP, according to a release here today.

On the advise of the government SAAP invited a team of experts from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical education, Gwalior to assess the perforamnce and achievements of SAAP coaches and suggest upgradation of their professional skills.

The programme would be for four days from tomorrow at different venues in the twin cities.

The performance reports of 84 SAAP coaches in 21 disciplines would be sent to the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior for assement.
