Huge cache of arms and ammunition recovered in Poonch, Rajouri
Jammu, Sep 16 (UNI) Security forces today recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the site of encounter in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, where two army jawans and two Special Police Officers (SPOs) were killed yesterday, official sources here said.
''One-kg RDX, two RD GRD, one mine, one AK magazine, five AK cartridges, 17 pencil cells, 1.5 meter wire with detonators, one RPG cell and one GPS set were recovered from the site of encounter at Tranawali near Bufliaz in Poonch district,'' sources told UNI.
Meanwhile, in other recovery, the troops of 38 Rashtriya Rifles recovered seven Chinese hand grenade, six UBGL grenades, 201 AK 47 ammunition, one IED device, one AK magazine, 12 pencil cells, one lighter and one 4x4 plastic sheet in Shadara Sharief area of Rajouri district, the sources added.
