Jaipur, Sep 16(UNI) The Rajasthan High Court has upheld the verdict of its single bench which had earlier set aside the state government's order for dismissal of 48 Ayurvedic nurses and compounders.
Dismissing the appeal moved by the government challenging the single bench's verdict against its order of termination of services of 48 nurses and compounders, a division bench comprising Justices RC Gandhi and Justice RS Chauhan yesterday held that the single bench's verdict in the case was in order.
As per case history, the state government had filled 197 posts of Arurvedic nurses and compounders in March 2002. However, in April 2002 services of 48 recruits were terminated for appointing candidates with higher qualification and/or merit.
The dismissal order was challenged before the High Court single bench which had set aside the aforesaid order and subsequently the state government had moved an appeal before the division bench.
