Washington, Sept 16 : Veteran actress Elizabeth Taylor had once given her approval to sell her topless pictures, after she was snapped sunbathing during a Spanish vacation in 1987.
In his new memoir, veteran actor George Hamilton, who had a year-long affair with the actress, revealed that Taylor was snapped with her breasts exposed during the vacation and asked him to track down the paparazzi before the pics get published.
After tracking down the paparazzi, Hamilton was shocked to find that Taylor loved her saucy pictures, and gave the photographer the go ahead to sell them.
"(She said) 'I like them, don't you? My breasts look rather good don't you think?' 'You look spectacular', I was forced to admit," Contactmusic quoted Hamilton, as writing in his book.
"(She said) 'I hate censoring the press anyhow. Not my style. I'm a First Amendment gal,'" he added.
The couple dated from 1986 to 1987. Hamilton describes the intensity of their affair in 'Don't Mind If I Do', which hits bookstores later this month.
