DNA reports of rape-accused policemen negative in Sarita case
Ambala, Sep 16 (UNI) The DNA reports of the two Police officials accused of rape in the sensational Sarita suicide case of Panchkula, were found negative which was submitted in the special court here today.
The special CBI Magistrate Dr Abdul Majid had ordered the central jail superintendent to collect the blood samples of the two accused, Silak Ram and Balraj, for the DNA test on August 9.
Copy of the chargesheet submitted by the CBI to the court was supplied to the defence counsel today.
The special CBI Magistrate has fixed September 30 as the next date for hearing in the case.
Sarita, a Rohtak-resident had consumed poison on June 9 in the police headquarters in Panchkula alleging ''in-action'' by the police officials regarding her complaints of ''rape'' and ''harrassment'' by the two accused policemen.
