Chennai, Sep 16 (UNI) The Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) would resort to Rail Roko agitation on September 23 at the Central station here to condemn the Centre's military assistance to Sri Lankan and Sangh Parivars attack on minority institutions.
DK President K Veeramani, in a statement here, said the Executive, which met here, adopted resolutions to stage the agitation to protest against India's military assistance to Sri Lanka, which ultimately led to the attack on Tamils in the island.
The agitation was also to condemn the attack on minority institutions by Sangh Parivars and the Orissa and Karanataka governments' failure to take action against the culprits, he said.
The Rail Roko stir would be held at 1100 hrs, he added.
The Executive also decided to screen free of cost the film on rationalist leader Periyar E V Ramasamy throughout the state for the benefit of rural people, coninciding with 130th birth anniversary of Periyar and centenary of late Chief Minister C N Annadurai.
