Tiruchirapalli, Sep 15 (UNI) Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) President Thol Thirumavalavan today said the Left parties' reported move to form a third front excluding the Congress and the BJP at the national level and a similar front in Tamil Nadu without the DMK and the AIADMK would not serve any purpose, instead their move would further encourage communal forces and its activities in the country.

Addrssing a press conference here, he said the left parties' stand on their ideologies might be correct, but their present stand on political affairs would be futile.

Asked whether the VCK would play a vital role for patch up the strained relationship between the ruling DMK and the PMK, Mr Thirumavalavan said if relationship between these two parties became cordial, it would be good for the VCK.

But both the DMK and the PMK has failed to utilize the VCK's efforts to organize a patch up work, he said and added if the PMK left the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, the VCK would take an appropriate decision at that time.

Two Indian nationals were injured in the recent air attack by the LTTE and it was the clear example for the Indian Government's anti-Tamil attitude, he alleged.

He demanded that the Indian Government should give up such alleged betrayal policy against the Tamils in the island nation. The VCK was going to stage a demonstration at Chennai tomorrow to condemn it, he added.

Welcoming the Tamil Nadu Government's move to supply one kg rice at Rs one, remission of 1400 odd lifers and it's decision to supply grocery items at subsidised cost to the card holders from October two, he demanded that the state government should provide job to 25000 jobless Tamil Pandits, regularise the services of 10,000 temprorary employees of the government, who were placed presently with consolidated pay scale.

He strongly condemned the recent serial bomb blasts at New Delhi and urged the Union government to establish an exclusive intelligence wing to deal such terrorist activities in the country.
