Quarterfinal matches hampered by rain

Jamshedpur, Sep 15 (UNI) Two quarterfinals of fifth Junior (Under 19) Football Tournament for I-league second division teams between arch rival Mohun Bagan and East Bangal, and host Tata Football Academy and JCT Phagwara today remained inconclusive as the games were stopped midway due to heavy rain.

The score was 1-1 in both matches.

Remaining part of the matches will be played tomorrow to decide the last two semifinalists.

Dempo and Sporting Club of Goa had already qualified for the semi finals to be played on September 17.

The final of the tournament being organised by the Indian Football Federation (IFF) in association with steel major Tata steel will be played on September 19.
