Mysore, Sep 15 (UNI) In a major breakthrough police have succeeded in arresting a person who was indulging in cheating job seakers and seized 200 Passports from him.
City Police Commissioner Dr Parashivamurthy told newsmen that Suresh Jain, who had duped hundreds of job seekers who were aspiring for jobs in Australia and Canada, had collected Rs 11 lakhs from them before vanishing.
Suresh was nabbed by a special team at Palanigoudar Village near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and brought him to the City and after opening his office it was found filled with 200 Passports issued in Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Mumbai, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
The accused had asked the job seekers to deposit the money in Axis Bank and ICICI bank accounts and submit their Passport for Visa. After after collecting Rs 11 lakhs he closed the office and left the city without clue.
Dr Parashivamurthy said that during investigation it was revealed that the accused had also posed as CBI officer, Lawyer in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, an Infosys employees and ID cards of different companies were recovered.
