Srinagar, Sep 15 (UNI) To provide better facilities of road communication to people in Jammu division, nine major road projects, involving an expenditure of Rs 191.24 crore, are under execution, an official spokesman said here today.
He said these projects were under execution to upgrade and create road communication facilities.
The total length to be treated under these projects accounts for 168 km passing through various towns, district headquarters and Jammu city.
The projects include Rs 37.48 crore Udhampur-Ramnagar 27.7 km road, Rs 39.9 crore 32 km Sudh Mahadev road, Rs 22.61 crore Kalibari-Kathua-Hatli Morh 6.37 km and Rs 22.45 crore 20 km Doda-Bharath road.
Sanction has also been accorded to the construction of three bridges over nallah Kooh, Koghole and Devik in Udhampur and Jammu districts at a cost of Rs 7 crore, he said.
