Sheikhpura, Sept 15 (UNI) A team of state vigilance sleuths caught red handed one clerk of the district education superintendent office while taking bribe of Rs 15,000 from a suspended Panchayat Shiksha Mitra today.
According to the vigilance sources, acting on a tip off, the special team of vigilance sleuths arrested one Anil Kumar Paswan, a clerk of the district education superintendent office from his office while taking bribe of Rs 15,000 from one Harish Kumar, a suspended Panchayat Shiksha Mitra.
According to the charges, the Panchayat Shiksha Mitra Harish Kumar had been suspended from his post for not possessing required educational qualifications.Harish was assured by Mr Kumar that he could get back his job if he paid Rs 30,000 to him.
The Shiksha Mitra had lodged a complaint with state vigilance bureau in this regard.
