Delhi police seeks information about SIMI activists from MP
Indore, Sep 15 (UNI) New Delhi police have sought detailed information about the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) from Indore police after its name cropped up in the recent serial blasts that rocked the national capital.
New Delhi police have asked information about SIMI chief Safdar Nagori and people associated with him. Delhi police wanted information about a SIMI activist, Faizal. However, police have denied involvement of any culprit from Indore in Delhi blasts.
In a crackdown on the banned outfit, 13 SIMI activists, including Nagori, were arrested from Indore on March 26.
New Delhi police have also asked to search those SIMI activists, who fled after being released on bail.
