Attack on Christians, Ugrappa demands emergency session
Bangalore, Sep 15 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council V S Ugrappa today demanded that the government hold an emergency session to take up issues pertaining to violent attacks on Christians in various parts of the state.
Talking to reporters here, he said the state government had failed to control the spate of violence unleashed on minority community for the past several days.
Mr Ugrappa also sought the resignation of Home Minister V S Acharya for failing to restore law and order.
