Hyderabad, Sep 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Narayan Datt Tiwari today congratulated Saina Nehwal, who became the first ever Indian woman shuttler to win her career's second Grand Prix singles title, as she won the Chinese Taipei Grand Prix Gold Open in Taiwan yesterday.
Appreciating the shuttler's prowess, the Governor said, ''I am delighted to learn that Saina became the first-ever Indian woman shuttler to win two Grand Prix singles titles, when she won the Yonex Chinese Taipei Grand Prix Gold Badmintion Championship in Taiwan yesterday.'' ''This young Hyderabadi has been enhancing the prestige of the country and state,'' Datt stated.
''I wish her all success in achieving many more laurels in the years to come,'' he added.
