Haryana Power Utilities commissions 24 sub stations
Chandigarh, Sep 14 (UNI) Under its ongoing program of strengthening power transmission in the state, Haryana Power Utilities commissioned 24 new sub stations in this fiscal year.
Besides the Utilities augmented the existing capacity of 43 sub stations and constructed 209.523 kilometer long transmission lines with a total investment of Rs 180.68 crore upto August, during the current financial year.
A spokesman said here today that the Utilities had been making strenuous efforts to enhance the system reliability. The average transmission system availability in the State, as per the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission calculative formulae, was 99.58 percent upto July last.
