Fight terrorism above political considerations: Modi
Bangalore, Sep 14 (UNI) Bringing down his rhetoric against the UPA government for not taking his warning on the serial blasts in Delhi seriously, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said he was not blaming any government or political party over yesterday's blasts in the national capital.
Speaking to reporters outside the hotel where the BJP's three-day National Executive concluded today, he said he was not politicising the issue nor blaming the Centre. "I believe that terrorism should be fought sans giving it any political colour. Fighting terrorism should be above all political considerations," he said.
He reiterated his earlier statement that the terrorists who were arrested after the Ahmedabad blasts, had revealed that Delhi would be their next target. "I was specific in telling this to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh besides the Home Minister and the National Security Advisor", Mr Modi added.
