Congress Condemns attack on Churches in Karnataka
Bangalore, Sep 14 (UNI) Strongly condemning today's attack on Churches in Karnataka, Congress today demanded the resignation of the Home Minister V S Acharya.
KPCC president Mallikarjuna Kharge demanded Home Minister to quit for failing to give protection to the minorities in his own district.
Speaking to UNI, Mr Kharge came down on the attacks on at least seven Churches or prayer halls. "I demand the arrest of all Bajrang Dal and all culprits be brought to book," he said.
Describing the attacks as a part of a 'well planned design' by the Sangh Parivar against the minorities, the Congress leader demanded that all those who were involved in the attacks were arrested.
He also demanded a ban on the pro-Hindu organisation. "The BJP, which completed 100 days in power in Karnataka is imposing Hindutva, the hidden agenda of the Saffron party, in the state" he alleged.
