Kurukshetra, Sep 14 (UNI) Local MP Navin Jindal today claimed that certain Congress party MPs are making undesireable statements for "gaining political mileage" out of the Rohtak police lathicharge and firing on the agitating guest teachers last week.

" People know why these MPs were making such statements", he quipped when asked elaborate.

Talking to the mediapersons in Barwa village during his daylong visit to the villages of his constituency, Mr Jindal said the Rohtak episode was indeed unfortunate, but equally unfortunate are the statements made by certain Congress MPs , even after Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had ordered an inquiry into the incident.

It may be recalled that Dr Arvind Sharma , Karnal MP and Union Minister Ms Seilja Kumari had criticised the district administration for its lapses in dealing with the teachers in a harsh manner which resulted in the death of a lady teacher after a pellet injury. Dr Sharma went to the extent of comparing the Hooda government with that of his predecessor Om Prakash Chautala.

Mr Jindal hailed the expulsion of Janhit Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi from the Lok Sabha by its Speaker Somnath Chatterjee. He said Mr Bishnoi never submitted his resignation as he had been claimg for the last 10 months and he had been expelled for his anti-party activities particularly after his voting against the N-Deal in Parliament last month.
