Britney donates autographed portrait for charity
Washington, September 14 : An autographed portrait of Britney Spears, which has been donated by the singer and her family, is being auctioned to help raise money for low-income mothers and their children.
Given away to the LA-based Promises Foundation, the large oil painting was created by Daniel Maltman.
The portrait is being auctioned on eBay with a starting bid of 10,000 dollars, accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Spears' mother, Lynne.
"The Spears family gave us this painting out of their generosity. It was their idea for the auction." People magazine quoted Lisa Rogg, the charity's director, as saying.
