Three terrorists arrested, remanded in judicial custody

Jalandhar, Sept 13 (UNI) District police today in arrested two accomplices of Harjant Singh alias DC, a former terrorist, who was arrested by the police on September 4 and also recovered lethal weapons including two mousers with magazines and bullets from them.

Police produced Harbant Singh, a resident of district Taran Taran and Mukhtiar Singh resident of district Ferozepur after nabbing them on the revealations by Harjant Singh of Batala and produced them before the local court which remanded them to judicial custody for 14 days.

According to district police, the interrogation of Harjant had revealed that the trio were planning to kill Baba Gurmit Ram Rahim, Chief of Dera Sacha Sauda in connivance with Pakistan-based agency ISI and ammunition for the same have also been provided by them.

On other revealations by the Harjant Singh, police also sought Amarjeet Singh from Patiala prison on production warrant.
