Hyderabad, Sep 13: Even as the low pressure area over the Telangana Region of Andhra Pradesh and neighbourhood perisisted on Saturday, Sep 13 bringing more rainfall to the State, weathermen warned of a fresh low pressure area over West Central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal around Sep 15.
''Fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Telangana during next 24 hours and decrease thereafter,'' IMD officials said.
Associated upper air cyclonic circulation extended upto mid-tropospheric level. Numerical Weather Prediction Models indicated formation of a fresh low pressure area over West Central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal in the next two days.
Under its influence, rainfall was likely to increase over the State after Sep 15, they added.
